Ali KhalilianMotamed Bonab is a PhD student in Human-Robot Interaction at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
In 2021 he received MSc in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey within the Mechatronics Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Science, under thesis supervision of Prof. Volkan Patoglu, Prof. Melih Turkseven, Prof. Hande Argunsah
In his thesis he introduced a systematic approach for rigorous and fair comparison of assistive devices based on a multi-criteria optimization. Developed a novel musculoskeletal simulation-based multi-criteria optimization framework to simultaneously optimize the exoskeletons power consumption and metabolic cost. Introduced and studied a novel exoskeleton inspired by human anatomy and conducted multi-criteria comparisons between the introduced and commonly used mono-articular exoskeletons.
